Chance UK benefits from Monat charity gift sets

Chance UK, an organisation that supports children experiencing emotional and behavioural difficulties, is to benefit from a donation from the Monat Gratitude fund, the philanthropic movement behind Monat Global Corp (Monat).

Monat raised £200,000 through sales of its Helping Hand Gift Set sold earlier this year, with 100% of net profits from the limited-edition sets donated to non-profit organisations that empower at-risk youth through education, scholarships and mentoring programmes, including the ISPCC.

Commenting on their fundraising achievement, Ros Simmons, Monat UK and Europe managing director, says:

“With the world very much focused on the global pandemic, it's important that as a brand we are supporting charities on a local level too.  We have actively been donating thousands of products to front line workers, but we are also aware that many charities are struggling as they cannot hold their usual fundraising activities.”

Anna Cronin Nowakowska, Partnerships Manager from Chance UK, adds:

“Enormous thanks to Monat Gratitude for the generous donation to Chance UK in our 25th anniversary year. This donation is making it possible for 130 vulnerable children to continue receiving life-changing mentoring and family support right now. While social distancing measures are in place, all mentoring is taking place remotely - over the phone or digital platforms. With your support we are also providing new resources so that children get the most out of those virtual sessions and can continue building their self-esteem and emotional resilience. As we recover from the current crisis and restrictions lift, we look forward to helping even more young children turn their lives around. On behalf of all the children and families we serve, thank you for making this possible!”
