Online resource supports therapists' mental health

The team behind National Massage Day and Pro-Touch Awareness Month, which took place in October, has put together an online library of resources which may be helpful for therapists unable to work due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The library has been put together through a collaboration with organisations and individuals working in the therapy sector, and is available via a public Facebook group. There are over 60 free resources/items to bring help, support, comfort and inspiration to all therapists and their clients covering combating loneliness and help for when self-isolating, self-care tips for mental health, on-line help for supporting clients and adapting your business, and self-massage videos, guided meditations and inspiring graphics to share.

Anyone can access, download and share the information. All items are tagged and can easily be found inside the ‘Pro-Touch Awareness 2020' topics section once you're a member of the group.

Commenting, Lizzie Badger, organiser of National Massage Day and Pro-Touch Awareness Month, says:

“I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our wonderful collaborators for providing such a wealth of amazing content to help us all in the difficult weeks ahead. Thank you so much.”
