Skin Academy set to turnover £2m in first year

New British skincare brand, Skin Academy, is celebrating after securing over £1.8 million of retail sales in its first year of trading.

Skin Academy's affordable skincare collection includes moisturisers, gel eye patches and facemasks, along with the recently launched INK'D tattoo aftercare products, and PURE paraben-, colour- and fragrance-free skincare.

The company, which launched in Bury, Greater Manchester in January of this year, predicts sales turnover will reach close to £2 million by the end of 2018. Employing 20 people, Skin Academy has won major national retail contracts with Bodycare, Beauty Outlet, B&M Retail, BOYES, and Semi Chem, with products also available to buy online from Boohoo.com and PrettyLittleThing.

To boost the brand's market presence further, Skin Academy has recently appointed PR and marketing agency KRPR.
