Wales announces opening dates for beauty & hair

The Welsh Government has announced that hairdressers and barbers in Wales, including mobile hairdressers, can reopen from Monday 13th July with beauty salons, nail salons and tattoo parlours able to reopen from Monday 27th July.

The announcement was made by Wales' First Minister, Mark Drakeford, today (10th July).

Two-metre social distancing regulations remain in place in Wales, and where this cannot be maintained, for example in salons, additional measures to minimise the spreading of COVID-19 should be put into place, including minimising close contact face-to-face exposure.

Salons should continue to follow current guidelines of the Welsh Government – for full details visit www.gov.wales
