Phorest GDPR e-book
Phorest have developed a free e-book on how your beauty or hair business can comply with the new ready General Data Protection Regulation.

The company have also announced that theirs is the first fully GDPR compliant salon software programme in Europe.

From 25th May 2018, it will be mandatory for all businesses to collect, house and protect clients' personal data and information in a secure manner. The new GDPR regulations mean that you must have a clear audit trail as to how data has been collected, which includes everything from simple contact details to consultation information and sensitive medical records. Clients have the right to request details of the data you hold on them, and GDPR compliance will enable you to provide a copy of their content to you holding this data.

Businesses, both limited companies and sole traders, must comply with GDPR or face fines.

Phorest's Salon Software provides the industry's first fully digital, compliant consultation forms meaning that all client details are recorded in a traceable way as per GDPR regulations. For marketing purposes, the software provides filters and tools to create campaigns using email, social media and SMS, and ensures all salon contacts are correctly opted-in. The programme is also fully encrypted meaning that all client data is protected.
